Schloss Kronovall auf Österlen – Veranstaltungsort von Top Heritage 2026

Runbox – official content partner
for Top Heritage 2026

Swedish company Runbox Sweden AB, based in Uddevalla on Sweden’s west coast, will become the official content partner of Top Heritage 2026 at Kronovall Castle. The assignment includes photography, film and editorial content capturing the cars, the people and the historic setting. During the event, Runbox will also host a photography workshop and create a limited number of exclusive lightpainting artworks featuring participating cars.

Top Heritage takes place from 27–30 August and brings together automotive history, design, culture, gastronomy and memorable experiences. The cars are not simply meant to be displayed – they are also meant to be driven, heard and experienced.

Cars should be experienced, not just admired

Top Heritage takes place at Kronovall Castle on Österlen from 27–30 August 2026. Classic sports cars, historic racing cars, modern specials, collectors, clubs and companies come together in a setting where automotive history, culture, design, elegance and passion take centre stage.

Top Heritage is about living automotive history. The cars are not only meant to be admired, but driven, heard and experienced in the surroundings of Kronovall Castle.

But the ambition goes beyond lining up beautiful cars on a lawn. The cars are meant to be heard, driven and experienced. On the 2.6-kilometre Heritage Road, several of them will once again be able to show what they were built to do.

Cars that may change hands

Among this year’s participants are a road-legal Porsche 962 Tribute and a rare Fiat Dino 2400 Spider. Both will be offered for sale through Top Heritage Reserve, the event’s curated sales section for specially selected collector cars.

Anyone wishing to sell a classic, sports car, racing car or project can also use Park Find, an open marketplace where both private sellers and professional dealers can display and sell their vehicles directly on site.

Kronovall – more than a backdrop

Top Heritage is about more than cars. At Kronovall, gastronomy becomes part of the experience, with Baroque and several restaurant concepts during the event.

Kronovall is not only the venue for Top Heritage, but an important part of the overall experience. In 2026, the castle enters a new gastronomic phase. Baroque has opened by the Baroque garden, and during the event Slottsbageriet and Buhres på Kivik will join as pop-up restaurants. Together with Spannstallet, food, drink and social encounters become a natural part of the whole experience.

Kronovall is part of the story

Kronovall Castle is not merely a beautiful backdrop for Top Heritage. The estate covers around 1,400 hectares and carries several centuries of history. Between 1892 and 1896, architect Isak Gustaf Clason transformed Kronovall into the Baroque-inspired castle we see today, with towers, salons, formal gardens and the distinctive entrance in front of the moat.

Kronovall Castle, surrounded by its moat, is more than a venue for Top Heritage. The historic setting and landscape become part of the story of preserving, using and passing cultural heritage on to future generations.

Since 1991, Kronovall has formed part of the Erik and Angelica Sparre Foundation, administered by Riddarhuset to preserve the estate for the future. This makes the setting particularly fitting for an event centred on caring for, using and passing cultural heritage forward. The castle, park and landscape will also become an important part of the visual material Runbox creates during Top Heritage.

Grand Prix on Österlen as early as 1927

On 24 July 1927, one of Sweden’s earliest documented Grand Prix races was held at nearby Bollerup. Both cars and motorcycles took part at a time when organised motorsport was still something new in Sweden.

The historic connection between Bollerup and Kronovall stretches even further back. In the first half of the 17th century, when Skåne was still Danish, both estates were owned by the Danish nobleman Falk Lykke. Almost four centuries later, Top Heritage brings together the area’s older estate history and Österlen’s automotive heritage, allowing the cars to be heard and experienced in the landscape once again.

The stories behind the cars

There are many events featuring extraordinary cars. What makes the difference is the context, the place, the people, the sound and the stories behind them.

Through photography, film and editorial features, Runbox will follow the preparations, present some of the most interesting participants and document what happens at Kronovall. The content will be published through both Runbox and Top Heritage channels before, during and after the event.

A natural assignment for Runbox

For Runbox, the collaboration is a natural continuation of what we already do: finding the story behind the car and presenting it with the care it deserves.

It is about more than simply recording a moment. The right photograph and the right story can bring out a car’s form, history and personality, together with the people and passion surrounding it. During Top Heritage, we will work with both documentary material and more elaborate presentations of specially selected cars and objects.

With a combined following of more than 25,000 people, Runbox can also carry the stories from Kronovall to an established audience with a genuine interest in cars, motorsport and automotive culture.

During Top Heritage, Runbox will also create a limited number of exclusive lightpainting artworks featuring participating cars. By illuminating the car step by step, its shapes, lines and details can be highlighted with a level of precision that is not possible in ordinary photography. The opportunity to book your own car will be presented separately.

A vision that goes beyond the car

Top Heritage begins with automotive culture, because that is where the knowledge, networks and passion already exist. But the vision goes further. Over time, the gathering at Kronovall Castle is intended to broaden to include more forms of expression and people driven by the same care for quality, history and creativity in areas such as design, art, gastronomy, music and craftsmanship.

Top Heritage is intended to grow beyond the car. The vision is to bring together automotive history, design, art, gastronomy and craftsmanship in the historic setting of Kronovall Castle.

The ambition is to create a recurring meeting place where different passions can come together and enrich one another.
